Dublin opened registration for its 2026 Fall Home Decoration Contest with four categories and prizes

Dublin has officially opened registration for its 2026 Fall Home Decoration Contest, giving local residents a chance to show off their seasonal spirit and creative curb appeal. The annual city-sponsored event celebrates fall traditions, Halloween festivities, and community artistry throughout the neighborhood.

Homeowners and residents may enter outdoor displays in four distinct categories: Harvest, Heritage and Remembrance; Spirits and Spooktacular; Cozy, Coven, and Lantern Loft; and the Festival of Lights. Each category highlights different artistic approaches, ranging from traditional autumn harvest decor with pumpkins and cornstalks to whimsical haunted displays.

Entries will be evaluated by community judges based on creativity, theme execution, and overall curb appeal. All displays must be visible from the public sidewalk or roadway, and lighting components should be operational during evening judging windows.

Winners in each category will receive commemorative yard signs, gift cards to local Dublin businesses, and formal certificates of recognition from the city. Registration remains open through mid-October, with judging scheduled to take place shortly before Halloween.

The contest is part of Dublin's ongoing seasonal programming aimed at encouraging community engagement and neighborhood pride across the city.
